Quilt Scribbles – Blue Moon Disappointment

Last week I spoke in Quilt Scribbles – Blue Moon about Mum’s favourite rose colour was Blue Moon; I also mentioned that I had a possible candidate.

Sadly, the pink budded rose that had potential for transforming itself into an array of blue petals has flowered and is most definitely a pretty dusky pink colour. It is quite lovely and Mum would have loved it, but I am a little disappointed that it is not a Blue Moon.

I have one more rose still to flower. There are only a few buds at the moment, but hopefully if the weather holds up the buds won’t be too long.

Keep your fingers crossed for me!
